Mareco Broadcasting Network DWBM-FM 105.1 Crossover
The Mareco Broadcasting Network, Inc, made its debut in July 7, 1963 its first AM station, DZBM 740 kHz, originally served only as a promotonal venue for Mareco's Mabuhay ad Villar record bands. It also held the local license to produce and market foriegn music labels from a peak of over a the latest and widest variety of popular music and consistently no. 1 in the surveys, contributing signifacantly in popularizing radio as a prime entertaiment medium in manila
With its increasing listenership, Mareco Broadcasting Network eventually opened DZBM to commercial adventising. For enhanched quality, the station from AM to FM band and became known as DWLM-FM at 105.1 MHz in May 6, 1972 as So-FM 105.1 in June 12, 1975 as Super Tulong Pinoy 105.1 with an all-OPM radio format late refomatted as Power FM BM 105 in August 3, 1985 with a New Wave format and changed its callsign to DWBM in the July 1, 1991, the network underwent several changes in management, as well as programming. with the result bieng 105.1 Crossover in June 2, 1994 a smooth jazz format
